Noorani Qaida
The Qaida is the primer every Quran student begins from: the letters on their own, then the vowels, then the joins, then whole words. It is a short book and not a difficult one — but skipping it is the single most common reason an adult can get through a page without ever reading it correctly.

Written from the subject itself, not from a brochure. If something here does not apply to you, the teacher will say so rather than teach it anyway.
The letters on their own — the name, the shape, and the sound each one actually makes
Correct makhraj from the first lesson, so a wrong habit never has time to set
The harakat — fatha, kasra and damma — and how each changes the sound
Joining: how the same letter changes shape at the start, the middle and the end of a word
Sukun, tanween, shaddah and the madd letters
Reading words, then whole ayahs, out of the Qaida before you open a Mushaf

- You can look at an unfamiliar Arabic word, work out every letter and vowel in it, and say it correctly without being prompted.
