Where to start
Find yourself in one of these four.
This is the same question the teacher will ask you in the first class, so answering it now only saves a few minutes.
You cannot read Arabic at all
The letters are unfamiliar shapes. Start at the Qaida — it is designed for exactly this and it is not a long book.
Start at the QaidaYou know the letters but cannot read a page
You can name the letters and sound them out slowly. Nazra is the stage that turns that into reading.

You get through a page comfortably and suspect it is not right. It probably is not, and Tajweed is the fix.

Then do not guess. Book the free first class and read a few lines out loud — the teacher will tell you in minutes.

How every course here is taught.
The subject changes from course to course. None of the following does.
One-to-one, every class
Never a shared class and never a recording. The teacher is listening to one student.
The same teacher each week
Not a rota. Progress depends on somebody remembering where you stopped last week.
Your timezone, not ours
Slots are fixed around school, work and prayer times, wherever in the world you are.
Male or female, your choice
A female teacher can be requested for any student, and nobody will ask you to justify it.
The first class is free
No card details and no deposit. You see the teaching before any money is discussed.
A written note each month
What was covered, what improved, and what is being worked on next.
